What is a Guardian Home?

We strongly oppose keeping breeding dogs in kennels, and instead feel all dogs deserve to live in loving homes with a family of their own.

This is where our Guardian Home Program comes in.

We partner with families, who contribute to our breeding program as Guardian Homes, and in return they receive a top quality dog to love forever.

How does it work?

You’ll receive a top quality female from us. You’ll then be required to inform us when your female goes into heat. When she’s ready to be bred, after passing all health tests and reaching appropriate age, she’ll come to us to be bred (usually 1 – 2 weeks) and then she’ll be returned to you until about 1 – 2 weeks before her due date. We like this extra time to give her lots of love, and ensure she’s totally comfortable with us in our home, and has had time to acclimate to her whelping box. 

She’ll have her puppies at our home and you’ll be allowed to set up appointment visits after puppies have reached 4 weeks of age. She’ll be able to go back home to you once puppies are weaned from her (usually at 6 – 7 weeks)

Once she’s totally done with mom life, we’ll pay to have her spayed, and she can continue to live with her loving family forever.
